topography

Auribeau is located at a height of 600 meters at the end of the Claparèdes plateau in the foothills of the Grand Luberon. The village is surrounded by fields of cherries and lavender as well as forests of green oak which, to the south east of the village, increasingly cover the slopes of the Luberon.

To the north, views extend across the Calavon valley from Mont Ventoux to Forcalquier taking in the Vaucluse plateau and the Lure mountains. In clear weather one can even admire the imposing Alpine chain.
